This Cookie Policy explains how PreBookmt (prebookmt.com) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy and forms part of our use of personal data.
The PreBookmt mobile application does not use HTTP cookies — it stores session state locally on your device. This policy applies only to our website at prebookmt.com.

2. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit. Cookies allow the site to remember your actions, preferences, and session over a period of time, so you don't have to re-enter them each time you return or move between pages.
This policy also covers similar technologies:
- Local storage and session storage — browser-based key-value storage; behaves like cookies but stays on your device only and is not sent on every request
- Pixels / tracking beacons — tiny images used to register page views or actions
- SDKs — JavaScript libraries loaded from third parties (e.g. PostHog) that may read or write cookies and local storage
We treat all of these as "cookies" for the purpose of this Policy and our consent banner.
3. How we categorise cookies
We sort cookies into two categories:

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party advertising trackers on prebookmt.com. We do not share data with ad networks.
4. Cookies we use
4.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the website to function and are set automatically.

4.2 Analytics cookies (only after consent)
Loaded only after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you decline or close the banner, these are not set.

4.3 Third-party redirect cookies (Stripe Checkout)
If you click through to subscribe via Stripe Checkout or the Stripe Customer Portal, Stripe sets its own cookies on stripe.com to process the payment securely. Those cookies are governed by Stripe's cookie settings and Stripe's privacy policy. We do not set or read those cookies.
5. Your choices
5.1 The cookie banner
When you first visit prebookmt.com you will see a cookie consent banner with three options:
- Accept all — analytics cookies are loaded
- Reject all — only strictly necessary cookies are loaded; analytics is not loaded for the duration of your
prebookmt_cookie_consentcookie (12 months) - Cookie preferences — choose categories individually
Your choice is stored in the prebookmt_cookie_consent cookie. You can change your choice at any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" in the website footer.
5.2 Browser-level controls
You can also manage or delete cookies directly in your browser. Most browsers let you:
- Block all cookies
- Allow only first-party cookies
- Clear cookies after each session
- Use Private/Incognito mode (which deletes cookies on close)

Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break parts of the site (security challenges, login state).
5.3 Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time by:
- Clicking "Cookie preferences" in the site footer and selecting Reject
- Clearing the
prebookmt_cookie_consentcookie (banner will reappear) - Emailing us at privacy@prebookmt.com
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before withdrawal.
6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
prebookmt.com respects the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If your browser sends a GPC header on a request, we treat that as a request to reject non-essential cookies and we will not load PostHog.
We do not currently honour the legacy "Do Not Track" (DNT) header because it is not consistently implemented across browsers; we recommend using a GPC-enabled browser instead.
7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when our cookie usage changes. Material changes will be notified by:
- An updated date at the top of this document
- A re-display of the cookie consent banner asking you to renew your choice
